About the Clinic
Chinook Chiropractic is a patient-focused, holistic health clinic in SW Calgary, located inside CF Chinook Centreโthe city's busiest shopping destination. We offer chiropractic care, massage therapy, and physiotherapy in a collaborative setting that prioritizes long-term healing, mobility, and natural pain relief.
Our team approach allows each provider to work within their scope while contributing to whole-body wellness. We're now expanding our rehabilitation services and looking for a passionate Physiotherapist to meet growing patient demand for active, evidence-based care.
Why This Role Exists
We regularly receive referrals from chiropractors and massage therapists for treatment based physiotherapy. This is a great opportunity to build a loyal caseload with the full support of a clinic designed for collaboration, patient-centered care, and clinical freedom.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient health history and perform functional movement assessments
- Utilize a hands-on approach to physiotherapy, integrating manual therapy, ART, ultrasound, Graston technique, IMS/dry needling, and shockwave therapy. Additionally, prescribe comprehensive home exercise and stretching programs.
- Develop customized, evidence-informed treatment plans focused on mobility and recovery
- Collaborate with chiropractors and RMTs to support integrated care
- Educate patients on injury prevention, movement strategies, and long-term wellness
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
What You'll Bring
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
- Current registration and good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta
- Experience in MSK, sports rehab, or injury prevention
- Strong manual therapy and clinical reasoning skills
- Comfort working in a team-based, holistic environment
- IMS, acupuncture, or dry needling training is an asset
- Shockwave therapy training can be done (if needed)
