We are seeking a friendly and attentive Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food service environments. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guests have a memorable visit. Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout their dining experience
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems or manual methods
  • Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining presentation standards
  • Assist with food preparation and food handling as needed to support kitchen staff
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area before, during, and after service
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction
  • Follow food safety protocols and maintain proper hygiene standards at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service in a fast-paced environment
  • Punch in & pack delivery takeout orders

Qualifications

  • Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
  • Experience with serving, food preparation, or barista duties is a plus
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings as needed
  • A positive attitude and genuine enthusiasm for hospitality and guest satisfaction

Hours of Operation: 7:00am–3:00pm
Hiring For: Busy Winter & Holiday Season
Availability Required: Weekends + Stat Holidays (mandatory)
Compensation: Ontario Minimum Wage + Tips
Positions: Part-Time & Full-Time

About the Role

Stacked Strathroy is heading into our busiest season and we're hiring servers who are reliable, accurate, and able to perform in a fast-paced breakfast environment. This is a high-volume restaurant — consistency and professionalism matter.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a section efficiently during peak breakfast and brunch hours
  • Take accurate orders (dine-in + takeout) and enter them correctly into the POS
  • Handle cash/debit/credit transactions
  • Run food quickly, clear tables, and maintain a clean section
  • Communicate clearly with FOH and BOH leads
  • Follow all food safety and health procedures
  • Provide friendly, consistent customer service

Requirements

  • Must be available Saturdays, Sundays, and all stat holidays
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
  • Morning availability required — some shifts start at 6:30am
  • Able to work a minimum of 2–5 shifts per week
  • Serving experience in a fast-paced environment is an asset
  • Strong multitasking, accuracy, and communication skills
  • Able to stay calm and focused during rush periods
  • Professional, team-oriented attitude — no drama
  • Must have a valid SIN to work in Canada

Physical Requirements

  • On your feet for the full shift (4–7 hours)
  • Comfortable lifting up to 20–25 lbs
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume setting

Uniform & Appearance

  • Black pants + black shoes
  • Stacked uniform shirt (provided)
