Border Security Specialist

The Customs and Border Protection Officer (CBPO) role offers a unique opportunity to join the federal law enforcement community, working alongside highly trained professionals who are dedicated to safeguarding America's borders.

• As a CBPO, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations, as well as facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

You will also be required to conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances, determine admissibility of individuals entering the United States, prevent illegal entry of prohibited goods and contraband, facilitate international trade compliance while protecting national security. Your work may take place in various duty locations across the country including ports of entry along U.S borders with Canada or Mexico.
