• Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws


• Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders


• Interpret tracks and other physical evidence of illegal entry/contraband


• Perform checks on farms,
  & buildings, traffic, city patrols,
  & transportation.
