Border Security Specialist

Protect America's borders and safeguard its prosperity as a Customs and Border Protection Officer. You will be part of an elite team of highly trained professionals working in law enforcement, responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws while facilitating legitimate trade and travel.

• Safeguard the nation by preventing illicit activity, including illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods.


• Determine admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States based on applicable laws and regulations.


• Collaborate with international partners to combat transnational crimes such as narcotics smuggling.

This is a career ladder position that allows for professional growth through promotions after successful completion of training programs at various grade levels (GS-5, GS-7).
