Key Responsibilities include:
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws.
Border agents also prevent undocumented entries and apprehend smugglers at or near the border by conducting farm checks, building checks, traffic checks,
cities patrols and transportation checks.
The duties mentioned involve detecting violators inspecting documents questioning people analyzing information rapidly making arrests exercising sound judgment using firearms dealing effectively with people developing contact networks.
The required qualifications are as follows: one year of general work experience OR bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement graduate-level education related to law enforcement prior/current law enforcement/military experience.
