Overview:

As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in safeguarding our nation's borders and enforcing immigration laws. You will be part of an elite team responsible for preventing illegal entry into the United States, detecting and detaining violators, and providing support to other law enforcement agencies.

• Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations


• Preventing and apprehending aliens at or near the borders


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry
