About
Safeguarding the nation's borders and protecting its citizens is a top priority. As a Border Patrol Agent, you will play a critical role in enforcing immigration laws and preventing illegal activity.
- Protect national security by detecting and apprehending individuals suspected of violating immigration laws

Specialized Experience Requirements:
h4>G.L.-9: One year of specialized experience performing duties such as searching detained individuals for weapons or contraband,
or assisting with criminal investigations
gs-11:
three years of experience working as an authorized peace officer where there was regular use of firearms;
authority granted by state or government agencies; primary duty consisted of actively looking for violations etc.
