Protective Enforcement Specialist

This is an entry-level opportunity to join our team as a Border Patrol Officer. As a key member of the U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), you will be responsible for safeguarding America's borders, deterring illicit activity, and enhancing economic prosperity.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws and inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders by maintaining surveillance from covert positions;


• Interpreting tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry;
