Key Responsibilities:
- Detect and question individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, inspecting documents and possessions for citizenship or violations
- Prevent and apprehend undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at the border through surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
- Interpret tracks, marks, and physical evidence of illegal entry or contraband
