Key Responsibilities:
- Detecting and questioning people suspected of violating immigration laws
- Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders
- Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations
Candidates Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess one (1) year of general work experience demonstrating ability to take charge, make sound decisions, maintain composure in stressful situations; learn regulations, methods, techniques through classroom training on-the-job instruction; gather concise information through questioning observation examination documents records OR bachelor's degree four-year course study leading bachelor's degree accredited college university OR combination general work experience successfully completed college education.
