Key Responsibilities:
In addition to identifying individuals suspected of violating immigration laws, the Border Patrol Agent must also inspect documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations.
Duties Include:
• Conducting thorough inspections at borders
. • Maintaining surveillance from covert positions.
• Preventing undocumentated noncitizens at borders by monitoring surveillance points. ,
