Border Enforcement Agent

Job Overview

The U.S. Border Patrol is seeking dedicated professionals to join our ranks as Border Enforcement Agents . In this critical role, you will be responsible for enforcing all applicable federal laws and regulations at the nation's borders.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration and customs laws, inspecting documents and personal effects to determine citizenship or compliance with regulations;


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers by maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;


• Interpreting physical evidence such as tracks, marks, signs of illegal entry;
