In this position, you’ll be a key contributor within the Marketing team.Under the direction of the Marketing Director, the Creative Marketing Supervisor is responsible for developing and maintaining MAPEI Canada’s local brand identity in alignment with global MAPEI standards and guidelines. This role leads the execution of high-impact creative projects and provides day-to-day creative direction, quality control, and final approval across all marketing deliverables—ranging from technical and institutional documentation to web, social media, events, and advertising. The position holder also supervises creative resources and supports reporting, budget planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Main tasks and responsibilities
Graphic Design (70%)
- Develop and maintain the local corporate brand identity in alignment with global MAPEI brand standards and guidelines.
- Create original design concepts and layouts that reflect corporate standards and support marketing objectives.
- Lead the design of complex assets, including technical and institutional documentation, digital/web content, social media creative, event collateral, and advertising materials, based on internal and external stakeholder requests.
- Expertly use design software to produce polished, print- and digital-ready artwork.
- Provide creative direction, revisions, and final approval for all creative work produced by the Marketing department.
- Deliver constructive, actionable feedback to direct reports and colleagues to strengthen overall creative quality and consistency.
Traditional Advertising (10%)
- Support the Marketing Director in reviewing traditional advertising campaigns and publications.
- Lead the end-to-end creative development of traditional advertising initiatives (concept, design, revisions, approvals, production).
- Recommend and help implement new traditional advertising approaches to increase reach and effectiveness.
Administration & Supervision (20%)
- Contribute to planning and updating the creative component of the marketing budget.
- Prepare a quarterly Creative Marketing report highlighting key deliverables, performance metrics, and priorities.
- Supervise and coach creative/graphic specialty employees, ensuring workload alignment and quality standards.
- Manage the Creative section of the Marketing SharePoint, including layouts, working files, and final approved versions.
- Prepare regular benchmark reports comparing MAPEI’s creative and brand presence to key industry competitors.
- Evaluate emerging creative technologies and provide recommendations for adoption when relevant.
- Participate in annual roundtable sessions with Sales and Product Line Management to identify and implement creative improvements.
- Any other related tasks approved by the Marketing Director

Skills and competencies required
- Education : College Degree (CD) or Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia, Graphic Design of a related field.
- Years of experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- Languages spoken and written : French and English
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro).
- Experience with 3D animation tools/software (e.g., Substance, Blender, Sketchfab) is an asset.
- Strong creative judgment, attention to detail, and high standards for execution.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
