This position plays a pivotal leadership role, overseeing the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex clinical, operational, and strategic initiatives. This position ensures programs are aligned with organizational priorities, regulatory requirements, and the evolving needs of patients, clinicians, and partners. We are in search for an individual who has strong skillset around collaboration, cross-functional teaming, and visionary leadership, being influential within an integrated leadership team environment. You have a proven track in working cross functionally with medical leaders, other senior officers, administrative teams, and external stakeholders to drive excellence in patient care, operational efficiency, and innovation. Your experience as a senior level program management, preferably in medicine or other related clinical areas will be useful in shaping the direction of strategic initiatives within the area. Description:
This Senior Program Officer position will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of programs within the Medicine Program; Partner with clinical and operational leaders to define program goals, success metrics, and long term strategic direction; Translate organizational strategy into actionable program plans with clear timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements; Identify opportunities for innovation, quality improvement, and system optimization. The SPO will provide a portfolio of complex, multi stakeholder projects from initiation through evaluation; Develop project charters, work plans, risk assessments & communication strategies; Monitor progress, resolve barriers, and ensure timely delivery of outcomes; Prepare executive level reports, dashboards, and presentations. This position will also be responsible for building strong relationships with physicians, nurses, allied health professionals, administrators, and external partners; Facilitating cross functional collaboration and alignment across teams; Leading committees, working groups, and program meetings with clarity and purpose; Analyzing operational performance, business continuity plans, workflow efficiency, and resource utilization for the Medicine Program in our urban, rural and remote sites; Supporting the development of policies, procedures, and standardized practices; Ensuring programs comply with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies. Additionally, the SPO will support business case development for new initiatives, technology investments, and staffing needs; Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions when needed; Support patient safety initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement, amongst other duties within the scope of this non-unionized position.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a regulated health profession, health administration, business, public health, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in healthcare field, at least three (5) of which are in a leadership/ management position. Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, relationship building, and clear, compassionate communication. Inspire, influence, and build trust across diverse clinical and operational teams. Proven ability Excellent presentation skills (planned & ad-hoc). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Experience with change management and project leadership methodology. Competencies in Leadership, Strategic Stakeholder Engagement, Collaboration, Communication, Business Acumen & Resilience.
