Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a System Engineer, based in Canada-Remotewith flexibility for some work-from-home arrangements. The System Engineer will be responsible for systems engineering tasks including design, administration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT infrastructure. The role also involves providing technical support and ensuring the reliability and security of systems to enable seamless operations across the organization.
Positi on Responsibiliti es:
1.Provide technical support for our cloud-based applicati ons, and on prem applicati ons,
resolving customer issues in a ti mely and effi cient manner.
2.Log, track, and manage incidents from initi al report to resoluti on, ensuring all are
resolved within agreed service levels.
3.Applicati on support with additi onal responsibiliti es to maintain servers and their alerts.
4.Perform network and soft ware troubleshooti ng to isolate and diagnose common
problems.
5.Monitor cloud environments and systems to ensure high availability and performance,
identi fying and resolving any potenti al issues before they impact customers.
6.Working with small to medium sized project teams following modern best practices in
project management.
7.Regularly perform system checks to ensure the smooth running of IT systems. This
includes managing updates, patches, and security measures to keep back-end systems
secure and up to date.
8.Parti cipate in system development acti viti es, providing technical recommendati ons on
bug fi xes.
9.Engage in research and development.
10.Assist in the maintenance, updates, and upgrades of applications and infrastructure.
11.Maintain accurate records and documentation of system configurations, changes,
incidents, and resolutions.
