Overview Join ENERCON's Nuclear Services Design Instrumentation and Controls Group as we expand our team! In this exciting role, you'll build strong relationships with internal teams and external clients while delivering innovative solutions in the state-of-the-art field of Physical Security. As a key leader, you will tackle technical challenges, ensure excellence in project outcomes, and guide your team towards exceeding customer expectations. This position is available in several locations including King of Prussia, PA, Crane Clean Energy Center in Middletown, PA, remote in Palo, IA, Palisades in Covert, MI, Birmingham, AL, Naperville, IL (suburb of Chicago), and Kennesaw, GA (suburb of Atlanta). You can choose to work Full Time, Part Time, or on a contractual basis. Responsibilities Relationship Building & Client Interaction:
Collaborate with both engineering teams and clients, developing strong connections particularly in Physical Security. Engage with site physical security management and engineering stakeholders effectively. Engineering Support & Technical Leadership:
Provide engineering support to ensure design products meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements. Lead your team, reviewing deliverables and communicating updates to senior management. Issue Resolution & Quality Assurance:
Oversee the resolution of technical and quality issues across disciplines, researching and proposing innovative solutions and best practices. Project Planning & Execution:
Direct the execution of assigned engineering activities, coordinating with Project Engineers, engineering supervision, and project management to provide timely updates on progress and challenges. Qualifications A minimum of 3 years of relevant design engineering or technician experience is required. Bachelor's Degree in an engineering field is preferred; however, a HS Diploma/GED with equivalent relevant experience is acceptable. Experience with AIM or NSMART security platforms is highly desirable. Background in the design, installation, and testing of large-scale digital control and computer monitoring system upgrades at power plants is preferred, specifically involving DCS platforms, process computers, and cybersecurity systems. Nuclear plant design and/or field experience within a nuclear QA Program is preferred. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Visio, Access, and PowerPoint is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey detailed technical information clearly. Knowledge of Physical Security principles, standards, and regulations is important. Aptitude for performing walkdowns at a nuclear power plant while providing feedback on deviations from equipment as compared with plant drawings. Demonstrated leadership skills to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively, working with various levels of staff and management. Excellent presentation skills for client interactions are crucial. Willingness to travel to client sites for meetings and walkdowns, approximately 30% of the time is necessary. Senior-level candidates should be familiar with the Standard Design Process and Digital Engineering Guide. Pay Range USD $85,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /Yr.
