Summary:
Our client within the Oil & Gas industry is seeking a
Data Engineer
to be responsible for Python Data Engineering. This role would be tasked with working with users directly and understand business requirements and functionality.
The ideal candidate will have at least 5+ years of experience in data engineering, SQL and NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres, db2, elastic, mongo db. and advanced Python skills.
. In addition, this role will be charged with having advanced application development experience with implementing business logic utilizing SQL procedures and NOSQL utilities.
Duties:
Ability to work with users directly and understand business requirements and functionality and have strong analytic skills and ability to figure things out, use ai tools, and get help when needed.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in data engineering, SQL and NoSQL databases like Oracle, SQL server, Postgres, db2, elastic, mongo db. and advanced python skills. Advanced application development experience with implementing business logic utilizing SQL procedures and NOSQL utilities Experience with design and development of scalable and performant processes Expert in Python development and fast API microservices Development experience with real time user interactive applications and communicate between UI and database Showcase examples on how they utilized LLM models, coding agents and testing agents during their development process Ability to simultaneously handle support and development Accredited bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant major Education:
