Microsoft SQL Server

Azure cloud . The ideal candidate will manage, optimize, and secure our SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance. Knowledge of
Databricks/Vertica
is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge or working experience with any Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool like
terraform
is a plus. Administer and maintain Microsoft SQL Server databases across on-prem and Azure environments. Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and troubleshoot issues proactively. Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery plans. Ensure database security and compliance with company policies. Support database deployments, upgrades, and migrations (SQL and Databricks) Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to optimize database-related processes. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts. Maintain database documentation and operational procedures. Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning efforts. Automating DBA tasks using scripting or tools
