As a Data Engineer, you will design and implement data solutions leveraging Spark, Python, and ETL tools to support enterprise-level projects. This role also involves integrating Microsoft Enterprise Viva platform for organizational network analysis, ensuring secure and efficient data flows across systems.
Key Responsibilities: Assist senior resources in assessing, analyzing, and implementing Microsoft Graph Data Connect. Act as technical lead for integration efforts, coordinating with platform engineering, operations, data science, and vendor support teams. Support platform security posture by identifying risks, escalating concerns, and implementing mitigation plans. Follow established policies, standards, and design patterns while researching industry best practices. Collaborate with project teams to understand requirements and deliver milestones. Implement quality checks and monitoring tools to ensure reliable system performance. Create monitoring systems and processes for managing interconnected infrastructure. Develop ETL workflows using tools like Alteryx and NiFi for data transformation and integration. Work with Spark and Python for big data processing and analytics. Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:
Strong proficiency in Spark and Python for data engineering tasks. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx and NiFi. Knowledge of SQL and familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure (preferred). Exposure to Azure services, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Graph, and Data Connect. Experience with Azure components such as Compute, Storage (Blob), Active Directory, Data Factory, and automation pipelines. Understanding of data lake concepts and data science techniques (plus). Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for data exploration and validation. Ability to collaborate with external teams and manage enterprise-level initiatives. Excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and openness to feedback. Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
