$70-90/hr Job Description:
Senior-level Data Engineer responsible for hands-on development and optimization of scalable Snowflake-based data pipelines within a modern cloud data platform.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Design and develop scalable ELT/ETL pipelines in Snowflake Write and optimize complex Python and SQL code (50-60% hands-on coding) Participate in architecture discussions and sprint planning Collaborate with data architects and cross-functional teams Work with offshore teams (India) during morning ET hours Implement and maintain dbt models and transformations Ensure data quality, governance, and performance tuning Requirements:
Must-Haves: 5-7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer Strong hands-on implementation experience with Snowflake Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL Experience implementing dbt in production environments Experience working within a cloud environment (Azure, AWS, or GCP) Experience building and optimizing production-grade data pipelines Comfortable collaborating in Agile environments (standups, sprint planning)
Nice-to-Haves: Azure experience or Azure certifications Financial services or asset management domain experience Experience supporting AI/ML data workflows
