Key Responsibilities
Application Engineering
Serve as the technical expert for load bank products, assisting customers with selection, configuration, and control options. Collaborate with Sales to analyze customer requirements and recommend optimal load bank solutions for testing and commissioning of power systems. Provide remote technical support, troubleshooting, and training. Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to improve product performance and features.
Technical Writing
Develop and maintain user manuals, installation guides, quick start guides, operation procedures, and troubleshooting documentation for load bank products. Create technical content for proposals, specifications, application notes, and marketing. Ensure documentation meets industry standards for clarity, accuracy, and compliance. Translate complex technical concepts into clear language for diverse audiences.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. 3+ years of experience in application engineering or technical support, preferably in power systems or power generation. Years of experience and or electrical knowledge can be substituted for a bachelors degree. Strong technical writing skills with proven experience creating user documentation. Familiarity with electrical switchgear, electrical testing, and load bank operation. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency with documentation tools.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of power systems, generators, and electrical testing standards. Ability to create diagrams, schematics, and visual aids for technical documents. Experience with drawing software or similar tools for technical illustrations.
