Security Enforcement Specialist

This is a dynamic position that offers numerous opportunities for growth and advancement in the field of law enforcement. Border Patrol Agents are responsible for enforcing immigration laws, preventing the smuggling of people and contraband, and ensuring national security.

• Detecting and questioning individuals suspected of violating immigration laws;


• Inspecting documents and possessions to determine citizenship or violations;


• Preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens and smugglers at or near the borders;


• Maintaining surveillance from covert positions using infrared scopes during night operations;


• Interpreting tracks, marks, and other physical evidence of illegal entry;
