Border Security Role

• The U.S. Border Patrol is responsible for preventing and apprehending undocumented noncitizens at or near the borders.

    Maintain surveillance using infrared scopes during night operations to prevent and apprehend undocumented individuals.

    Perform checks on farms, buildings, traffic, cities, and transportation routes to ensure compliance with border regulations.

    Operate government vehicles or vessels along international boundaries to accomplish mission objectives."
