Protect American Interests as a Border Patrol Agent

• Safeguard the nation's borders and enforce customs laws by detecting, questioning and apprehending individuals suspected of violating immigration regulations.

1. Federal law enforcement experience or equivalent military background with strong decision-making skills under pressure.


2. Excellent communication abilities to deal effectively with people in a courteous and tactful manner while enforcing law compliance.


3. Ability to gather concise information through observation, examination of documents and records as well as analyze rapidly to make prompt decisions.
