Frontline Enforcement Officer

The United States Customs and Border Protection is seeking highly trained professionals to join its elite team as Border Patrol Agents.

• Detecting individuals suspected of violating immigration laws requires a high degree of situational awareness, critical thinking, and effective communication skills. The ability to remain calm under pressure and think on your feet is crucial in this role.
• Preventing undocumented noncitizens from entering the country involves collaborating with other law enforcement agencies, analyzing intelligence information, and making informed decisions quickly. Proficiency in surveillance techniques and forensic evidence collection is also essential.
• Finding tracks, marks, physical evidence of illegal entry demands a keen sense of observation and attention to detail. You must be able to analyze complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions from them.
