Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in project planning by accurately assessing costs and preparing comprehensive estimates for construction projects. Duties
- Prepare detailed construction cost estimates by analyzing project blueprints, specifications, and other relevant documents.
- Utilize estimating software such as HeavyBid and Bluebeam to develop accurate pricing models.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to gather pricing information and negotiate terms.
- Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include labor, materials, equipment, and overhead costs.
- Conduct risk analysis and value engineering to optimize project budgets without compromising quality.
- Assist in the review of contracts and scope of work to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and new estimating technologies.
- Support project management teams throughout the construction process by providing cost updates and revisions as needed.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction estimating, with a strong understanding of construction processes and cost structures.
- Proficiency with Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard estimating software.
- Demonstrated ability in negotiation to secure favorable pricing and terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all estimates.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and stakeholders at all levels. This role is essential for delivering precise cost assessments that support successful project execution while maintaining competitive bids in the marketplace.

Pay: $50,470.39-$108,171.69 per year
