About
Location: Owen Sound, OntarioType: In the OfficeOur Owen Sound, ON branch is currently looking for an IT Application Support Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing first level and advanced support for our ERP applications and related IT systems.This posting is for a current vacancy. Our hiring team is actively recruiting for this role and will look to onboard following the selection of the successful candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and resolve user issues, ensuring the smooth operation of ERP applications
- Actively participate in the software development lifecycle
- Review, categorize, assign, and complete incoming tickets
- Application user account management; unlocking accounts, creating new user accounts, disabling user accounts, updating user application security permissions.
- Gather requirements for improvements to applications
- Periodic checks for application performance and data continuity
- Participate in quality assurance testing and training sessions
- Maintain solution articles and training documentation
- Coordinate with other members of the IT team on tasks
- Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years post-secondary education in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in a support/help desk role and ticketing systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Strong customer service skills and problem solving
- Organizational skills and keen attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize tasks
- Advanced computer capabilities and proficiency with Microsoft Office Programs
- Experience in ERP Application Support and ability to understand all aspects of ERP Applications (training provided)
- Bilingual in French and English considered an asset
Pay: $53,000/annum
