About
The Office Administrator plays a critical role in supporting the entire organization and is responsible for the administrative duties that support CIG in its day-to-day operations. Specific duties involve providing administrative, operational and customer service support.
This is a hardworking, hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves environment emphasizing a team-oriented and collaborative style. It will be key for the candidate to embrace change and see past obstacles with a focus on solutions in the context of a company undergoing rapid growth and ongoing functional integration.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet and check in visitors in line with company policy
- Answer and direct incoming calls, taking and relaying messages to the correct parties as needed
- Manage shared company email accounts and ensure timely and accurate responses
- Provide administrative support to Senior Leadership, including meeting coordination, event support, and supply management
- Maintain operational programs such as office supply inventory, phone directory, and assist with staff initiatives
- Process sales and purchase orders in the ERP system
- Enter sales orders, complete three-way matching (invoice, PO, packing slip), and issue invoices
- Assist the Accounting Manager/Senior Team with special requests and projects that may be outside of day-to-day responsibilities
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of office administration or operational support experience preferred
- Intermediate MS Office skills required, including proficiency with Word, Outlook and Excel
- Outstanding attention to detail, partnered with strong administration and organization skills
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, are needed to work effectively with the public and internal clients/customers
- Be success-driven and have a "can do" attitude
- Ability to work independently to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Must have a driver's license and access to a vehicle to travel for work activities as required
- Must have the ability to provide a criminal records check that is clear of any charges that could be related or have a direct correlation to the position or company

Job Details
Reports to : Accounting Manager
Salary : Starts at $45,000 annually
Status : Full-time, permanent, on-site position
Schedule : regularly 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, subject to change as per operational requirements

Psychological Demands
- Must be comfortable with communication by phone/email/in person with internal and external clients

- Must be comfortable sitting or standing at a desk and working at a computer for prolonged periods of time
Environmental Demands
- Fast-paced office environment with quickly changing priorities
- This position may involve exposure to cannabis/plant materials and is therefore not likely suitable for anyone that may suffer from allergies to cannabis, or for anyone that experiences medical issues as a result of exposure to cannabis materials
- Strong scent of cannabis plants
