About Us

Hinawi Bros Bagel & Café is a growing multi-location café group in downtown Montreal operating:

• 4 retail café locations
• A central kitchen and bagel factory
• Multiple corporate entities
• Real estate assets

We are building a real-time executive dashboard and automation system to centralize sales, labour, food cost, and financial performance across all locations.

We are looking for a technically strong and analytical specialist to lead this project.

Project Objective

Design and implement a real-time CEO dashboard that integrates:

• POS systems (Koomi & Lightspeed)
• QuickBooks accounting
• ADP payroll
• Multi-location sales reporting
• Labour % monitoring with alerts

Responsibilities

• Build unified data model across multiple POS systems
• Integrate QuickBooks for automated P&L reporting
• Connect ADP payroll data for labour cost tracking
• Design executive dashboard (Power BI preferred)
• Implement automated alerts when labour % exceeds targets
• Create scalable system for future locations
• Document all workflows and integrations

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience with Power BI (or Tableau equivalent)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Experience with API integrations and data automation
• Experience connecting POS, payroll, and accounting systems
• Understanding of restaurant KPIs (Labour %, Food Cost %, Gross Margin)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice to Have

• Experience in hospitality or multi-location retail
• Experience with Make, Zapier, or Power Automate
• SQL knowledge
• Experience building executive-level dashboards

Project Scope

Initial 60–90 day project with potential for ongoing engagement.

Compensation based on experience and project proposal.
