CNC Machine Operator

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce parts in a fast-paced environment. Compensation consist of fixed guaranteed salary of 3500 CAD and % from the completed orders.

Duties

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including CNC millis (HAAS) and Lathe (Okuma) and other fabrication equipment
• Interpret technical drawings
• Handle materials safely, including loading raw materials and managing tooling to optimise production efficiency.
• Conduct routine inspections of machined parts
• Perform basic maintenance on CNC equipment
• Apply basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during machining processes.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in CNC machining
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks and programming languages related to CNC machinery.
• Basic Mechanical knowledge
• Competence in using hand tools and understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations.
• Warehouse experience or background in materials management is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to follow detailed technical instructions accurately.
• Good problem-solving abilities with a focus on safety and quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $3,500.00 per month
