Room Attendant/Housekeeping

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will ensure guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, providing an exceptional experience for our guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail and hospitality skills are highly valued. Prior hotel experience or custodial background is a plus, but we provide comprehensive training for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service guest rooms according to hotel standards, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
• Ensure all areas of guest rooms are tidy, sanitized, and well-maintained
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional amenities or services
• Maintain cleanliness of hallways, stairwells, and public areas as assigned
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
• Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures during cleaning tasks
• Adhere to industrial cleaning protocols when necessary for larger-scale cleaning projects

Requirements

• Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
• Ability to work efficiently independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for maintaining consistent service quality

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $19.74-$23.35 per hour
