Delivery and Collection Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and packages to designated destinations.
• Load and unload freight.
• Ensure accurate documentation of deliveries and pickups, including proper paperwork and electronic records.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Assist with moving freight within shop.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws to ensure safe transportation at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Experience with moving freight, or handling heavy loads is preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to lift heavy items safely and efficiently during loading/unloading processes.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively for timely deliveries. This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, punctuality, and excellent service delivery.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 25 per week
