Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our finance and office operations. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software and bookkeeping processes, ensuring smooth financial transactions and record-keeping. Duties

  • Manage and maintain accounting records using software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely
  • Perform bank reconciliations and account analysis to ensure financial accuracy
  • Assist with payroll processing and related documentation
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports for management review
  • Support budgeting activities by tracking expenses and preparing relevant reports
  • Maintain organized records of financial documents, invoices, and receipts
  • Provide general administrative support including scheduling, correspondence, and filing
  • Collaborate with team members to improve office processes and workflows

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero
  • Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, including accounts payable/receivable and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of payroll processing and related compliance requirements
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to perform bank reconciliation and account analysis accurately
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial reporting
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Prior experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred but not required
