About
We're hiring a proactive HR Generalist to support core HR operations across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, compliance, and offboarding. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, startup environment and can balance execution with empathy. You'll work closely with the COO and leadership team to ensure HR systems, documentation, and team support are running smoothly, compliantly, and with a focus on employee experience.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Own full-cycle recruitment for contractor and full-time roles: job posting, screening, coordination, candidate experience
Use platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter to source qualified candidates quickly
Manage onboarding process: documents, compliance, IT setup, first 30-day experience
HR Operations & Employee Support
Act as point of contact for employee questions and requests (policies, benefits, time off, performance, etc.)
Maintain and update HR systems, employee files, and contract records
Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws, HR documentation, and contractor agreements
Performance & Culture
Support quarterly and annual performance reviews — scheduling, reminders, tracking
Monitor employee engagement and flag any performance or retention risks early
Support internal communications, celebrations, and HR-led initiatives
Compliance & Process Improvement
Help document and enforce HR policies and procedures
Ensure timely collection of required documentation for all team members (contracts, NDAs, tax forms)
Assist with exit processes and offboarding interviews, maintaining continuity and compliance
What Success Looks Like
100% of roles filled within target timeline with high-quality hires
Smooth, consistent onboarding with positive feedback from new hires
HR files and compliance documentation fully up to date at all times
Team members receive timely support, and HR inbox SLAs are met
Performance review cycles are completed on time, with 100% participation
Leadership receives early visibility into performance or engagement risks

Qualifications
2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or People Ops role in a startup or fast-paced 'remote' company
Fluent in English with native-level written and spoken communication
Highly organized and detail-oriented — nothing slips through the cracks
High EQ — able to support people with empathy, discretion, and professionalism
Comfortable working in remote-first, tech-driven environments
Preferred
Prior experience in SaaS
Familiarity with tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Notion, Google Workspace
Experience managing international contractors or remote teams
