Pay Rate: C$40 to C$45 per hour CAD inclusive
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to support Indirect Procurement Delivery within an R&D-focused environment. This role is responsible for strategic and operational sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiation, and category management across clinical and research-related services.
The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across procurement, business, and global networks to translate business needs into sourcing strategies, spend management initiatives, and supplier engagement plans.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies across indirect and R&D categories
Lead contract negotiations including NDAs, Master Service Agreements, and vendor agreements
Manage supplier relationships and drive cost optimization initiatives
Conduct market research and spend analysis to inform sourcing decisions
Support clinical development-related procurement including CROs, IxRS/IRT, imaging, and patient recruitment services
Ensure compliance with relevant R&D regulations including GCP
Utilize procurement systems and e-Sourcing tools to support contracting and operational processes
Collaborate with global procurement teams to deliver category and project-based initiatives
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, business or related discipline preferred
Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, contracting, or category management
Experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences industries
Strong negotiation and supplier management experience
Knowledge of clinical development procurement categories
Understanding of GCP and R&D regulatory environments
Business-level English fluency
