Responsibilities and more:
- Experience in electronics repair, triage, or manufacturing quality inspection, including board rework handling.
- Expertise in hand soldering skills: soldering basics, wires and terminals, lap solder joints, through-hole, and surface mount.
- Solid understanding of PCB assemblies, ESD protocols, and basic electronics troubleshooting.
- Proficient in documenting technical findings, database entry, and report generation.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and adherence to SOPs.
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple tasks; able to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Word.
- Familiarity with Linux/Ubuntu environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IPC-A-610 – Level 2 standards.
- Experience with complex PCBAs.
- Basic soldering and rework skills (IPC-7711/7721 certification preferred).
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- College diploma or technical certificate in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline.
- Mandatory Certification on IPC-A-610.
- Nice to have Certification on IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-600, IPC-A-620.
