Trillium Rail Partners (TRP) is a consortium of Amico Major Projects, Alberici Constructors, and Acciona Infrastructure Canada, working closely with Metrolinx to deliver the Stations, Rail, and Systems (SRS) package for the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension, a transformative 9.2 km expansion of Toronto's light rail network.
Position Overview:
TRP has a current vacancy for a detail-oriented and proactive Subcontracts Administrator to join the ECWE-SRS project team. The successful candidate will support the procurement, administration, and management of subcontract agreements, ensuring compliance with contract terms, timelines, and project requirements. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a collaborative approach to working with internal teams and subcontractors
Key Responsibilities:
Administers and manages subcontract agreements from issuance through closeout.
Arranges subcontractor kickoff meetings and review meetings, and maintains meeting
minutes.
Prepares, reviews, and processes subcontract documents, change orders, and
amendments.
Verifies and negotiates change request forms and change issues with subcontractors.
Tracks subcontractor deliverables, milestones, and compliance with project
requirements.
Liaises with project management, procurement, and finance teams to ensure accurate
reporting and timely payments.
Maintains comprehensive records of subcontract activities, correspondence, and
documentation.
Monitors subcontractor performance and assists in resolving issues or disputes.
Supports bid preparation and evaluation of subcontractor proposals when required.
Ensures adherence to corporate policies, project specifications, and regulatory
requirements.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Post-secondary education in construction management, business administration, or a
related field.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in subcontract administration within construction
projects, preferably in commercial or institutional sectors.
Strong knowledge of subcontracting processes, contract terms, and project
documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
