Job Description and Requirements As a Software Engineering Team Lead in Engineering Systems, you will: Lead a dedicated platform team that empowers Relativity developers to craft high-impact products.
Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing group of software engineers.
Serve as a subject matter expert for the product features your team handles.
Make crucial decisions related to your team's operations and strategic goals.
Receive mentorship and coaching from leadership to support your growth and success.
Key Responsibilities Include: People & Performance Management Oversee an agile scrum team, ensuring its success by implementing Agile principles effectively.
Foster a high-performance culture and implement efficient practices.
Strategically allocate team members' efforts to meet organizational goals.
Boost organizational efficiency through industry best practices tailored for SaaS products.
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings to support the development of your direct reports.
Encourage knowledge-sharing within the team to promote collective growth.
Provide technical leadership in your team's specialized domain.
Guide employees in their career advancement and future opportunities.
Manage team workload, hiring processes, and performance evaluations.
Technology & Strategy Leadership Act as a technology advisor, staying up-to-date on industry trends and advancements.
Engage in hands-on software design, development, and integration activities.
Collaborate with lead engineers and architects to devise effective solutions.
Develop a strategic vision for your team's domain to promote operational excellence.
Establish policies and advocate for process improvements.

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Over 4 years of experience managing software development teams.
More than 10 years of experience in commercial-grade software development.
Proven success in leading remote teams effectively.
Strong understanding of modern programming languages and object-oriented principles.
Experience with high-performance, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS).
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi).
Adept at motivating teams and enhancing efficiency in high-pressure situations.
Exceptional verbal, presentation, and written communication skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies.
Proficient with automation tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar.
A proven track record of successfully leading SaaS or PaaS products.
Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Azure.
Relativity is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position includes a competitive salary, annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives. Expected salary range: $155,000 to $233,000. The final salary offered will depend on various factors, including experience and internal pay equity. Typically, new hires are positioned at the lower end of the range to allow room for future salary growth.
