Lead DevOps Engineer
to take our engineering practices to the next level. In this pivotal role, you will help modernize our delivery pipelines and enhance the reliability and scalability of our platforms. Collaborate with a dynamic team of DevOps, SRE, and software engineers as we support cloud-native technologies and promote automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using industry-leading tools and best practices. Architect and maintain a scalable, resilient cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for AWS. Enforce Infrastructure as Code (IaC) standards utilizing tools like Terraform. Enhance observability and monitoring frameworks, reducing operational burdens and improving reliability. Collaborate closely with Dev, SRE, Architecture, and QA teams to ensure smooth feature delivery and system performance. Drive automation across various workflows including build, deployment, and management of environments. Stay ahead of the curve by evaluating new tools and practices to elevate AGS's DevOps maturity. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior DevOps engineers and interdisciplinary teams. Support production environments and participate in on-call rotations as needed. Required Qualifications 8+ years of DevOps experience
in a major tech organization or large-scale enterprise setting. Comprehensive expertise in:
Cloud platforms (AWS preferred). CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab Pipelines, and Jenkins. Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. Containerization and orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, networking, load balancing, and security practices. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and documentation skills. Preferred Skills Experience with:
Observability tools (e.g., New Relic, ELK Stack, Splunk). Secrets management (Vault). Additional automation tools (Chef, Argo, SonarQube).
Experience with Helm for Kubernetes deployments (chart management, values files, upgrades). Familiarity with service mesh technologies (Istio). Understanding of enterprise release processes and complex multi-environment deployments. Who You Are Self-driven with a strong sense of ownership.
