Data Analysis and Reporting: Gather and interpret financial and operational data to reveal trends and opportunities. Craft reports that illuminate key performance metrics, budget variances, and operational efficiency. Engage with cross-functional teams to grasp their data needs and create insightful dashboards and reports. Produce and implement data-driven solutions to inform critical business decisions. Financial Performance Analysis: Conduct thorough financial assessments to gauge performance, pricing strategies, and cost efficiency. Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and scenario modeling to support strategic initiatives. Share findings with management, emphasizing insights and recommending actionable strategies. Business Intelligence Solutions: Collaborate with teams and external vendors to define data requirements and develop accurate data models. Help develop and maintain business intelligence tools, dashboards, and reporting systems. Explore innovative BI solutions to improve data visualization and accessibility. Team up with various departments to design and implement IT solutions in line with business goals. Integrate new technologies to boost operational efficiency and productivity. Market and Competitive Analysis: Track market trends, competitor performance, and industry benchmarks to glean insights. Work with marketing and sales teams to identify growth opportunities and understand customer preferences. Financial Modeling and Forecasting: Help construct financial models for various scenarios and long-term financial planning. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to align forecasts with business goals and market realities. Advisory and Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide data-driven insights for strategy. Act as a subject matter expert in financial and operational data analysis, offering guidance and training. Process Documentation: Thoroughly document business processes to ensure transparency and operational efficiency. Create detailed process documents, including workflows and standard operating procedures. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience in a business intelligence or data analytics role. Proficient in ERP systems such as Netsuite; experience in dashboard creation and report generation. Skilled in data analysis and visualization using tools like Excel, Tableau, and SQL. Strong understanding of financial principles and techniques in budgeting and forecasting. Excellent analytical skills with a knack for transforming data into impactful insights. Effective communication skills to present complex data findings to non-technical audiences. Attention to detail when ensuring data accuracy and generating reports. Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proactive problem-solver with a focus on process improvement opportunities.
