About the role
As a Product Support Engineer, your primary responsibility will be providing exceptional technical support to customers through phone-based troubleshooting, handling complex escalations, and completing RMA inspections.
Your secondary responsibilities will include supporting the R&D team with product testing and assembly, including actuators, control boxes, and operating test equipment.
Lastly, you will assist with a small number of new product development projects, supporting prototyping, testing, and validation efforts. You will be supported by the R&D Manager and the B2C Technical Lead.

What you'll do
· Provide exceptional customer technical support through phone-based troubleshooting, complex escalation handling, and RMA inspections
· Assist in-person customer inquiries
· Investigate product issues, document findings, and coordinate corrective actions across R&D, Operations, and Marketing
· Support the R&D team with assembly and testing of linear actuators, control boxes, and related components
· Plan and execute mechanical, electrical, and firmware testing, including building and maintaining test jigs, load testers, and validation equipment
· Create and validate technical product documentation, ensuring specifications are verified through testing and analysis
· Train internal teams on new or updated products to ensure strong product knowledge and support readiness
· Assist with a small number of new product development projects, supporting prototyping, testing, and validation efforts
Qualifications\
· Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
· Strong communication skills with a professional and customer-focused attitude
· Hands-on experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical components
· Hands-on experience with basic fabrication, assembly, and soldering
· Methodical and organized approach to testing, documentation, revision control, and traceability
· Good understanding of motor control systems and common technical challenges
· Strong time management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate with both local and overseas teams
Nice To Have
· Experience with 3D printing (design and prototyping)
· Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar CAD software
· Experience with Arduino or similar microcontroller platforms
· Embedded programming experience, including C for microcontrollers
· Experience designing, building, or working with test jigs and automated test setups
