This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment, contributing directly to customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment within our dynamic logistics operation. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately select items from inventory based on customer orders.
- Inspect all items for quality and condition before packing.
- Securely pack products, ensuring they are protected for transit.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and any necessary documentation.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and scanning technology.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Comply with all company safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counting tasks.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the fulfillment center.
- Perform consistent lifting of packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a fulfillment or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order processing.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
- Must be able to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
- Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE.
