Key Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage.
- Unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Stock received goods in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification may be required or provided).
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our warehouse management system.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Perform regular safety checks on equipment and work areas.
- Handle lifting of items up to 60 lbs throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience as a warehouse associate or in a similar role.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Ability to operate forklifts or other warehouse machinery is a significant advantage.
- Basic computer skills.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and commitment to a safe work environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of logistics best practices is beneficial.
