Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret pick lists or utilize scanning devices to identify items for order fulfillment.
- Accurately locate and retrieve products from designated warehouse shelves and locations.
- Verify product codes, quantities, and descriptions against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated staging or packing areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring aisles and pick paths are clear.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment as needed.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or inventory issues to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with inventory tasks, such as cycle counts, when required.
- Meet or exceed established productivity targets for order picking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse picking role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand product labels, pick lists, and order details.
- Strong attention to detail to minimize errors.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
- Capability of performing lifting tasks up to 45 lbs consistently.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow safety guidelines.
- Willingness to wear required PPE, such as safety vests and closed-toe shoes.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
