We are looking for a safety-conscious and experienced individual to manage the movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to operate forklifts efficiently and safely to load, unload, move, and stack materials. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring secure and proper placement of goods.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, free from hazards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and verification.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and logistics.
- Follow all handling procedures to prevent damage to goods.
Qualifications:
- Certified and experienced Forklift Operator with a proven track record.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.
- Familiarity with various types of forklifts and their safe operation.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
