Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced distribution center in New York City, New York, as a Distribution Center Associate. This critical role supports the end-to-end logistics process, from receiving goods to dispatching final orders. You will be involved in various warehouse operations, including unloading, stocking, picking, packing, and preparing shipments. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, can thrive in a dynamic environment, and is committed to maintaining high standards of productivity and Safety. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, team-oriented, and understand the importance of accuracy in all tasks. Your contribution will ensure our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, verify, and stock incoming merchandise.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).
  • Accurately pick orders using RF scanners and order sheets.
  • Pack and prepare items for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
  • Load and unload trailers, managing freight efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all Safety protocols.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts.
  • Follow all guidelines for the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the entire logistics chain.
  • Assist with other warehouse duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring physical exertion, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic logistics concepts.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Safety and following procedures.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
  • Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
  • Must be reliable and punctual.
