We are looking for a motivated Picker/Packer to join our thriving warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring customer orders are accurately assembled and prepared for shipment, a critical function within our logistics operations. You will meticulously pick items from inventory, carefully pack them for transit, and prepare them for dispatch. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to efficiency. You'll work within a supportive team environment, contributing to the overall success of our distribution center. Safety is paramount in our operations; therefore, strict adherence to all Safety guidelines, including the proper use of PPE, is required. This role involves regular physical demands, including moderate Lifting of items up to 50 lbs. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders from designated warehouse locations.
- Inspect items for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Pack products securely and efficiently using appropriate materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Operate scanning equipment to track inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and properly utilize all required PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and cycle counts as needed.
- Contribute to meeting daily shipping goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a picker/packer or in a warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Familiarity with logistics and order fulfillment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Comfortable using RF scanners and basic computer systems.
