About
Join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio, as a Material Handler! This position is vital for ensuring the smooth flow of materials throughout our facility. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and preparing materials for production and shipment. Key tasks include operating manual and powered equipment, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining an organized workspace. A strong emphasis on workplace Safety and efficiency is required. This role involves frequent Lifting and physical activity, so a good level of fitness is necessary.
Responsibilities:
- Move materials within the warehouse using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring easy access.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all operational procedures.
- Follow all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and maintain all required PPE .
- Support the overall efficiency of warehouse Logistics .
- Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment and basic Logistics .
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety .
- Proficiency in using required PPE .
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
