We are recruiting a dedicated Picker/Packer for our busy warehouse in Chicago, Illinois. As a Picker/Packer, you will play a vital role in our fulfillment process, accurately selecting items for outgoing orders and preparing them for shipment. This position is critical to the efficiency and accuracy of our logistics operations. We are looking for individuals who are detail-oriented, energetic, and committed to maintaining a safe and productive working environment. You will be an essential part of a team that ensures customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to customer orders, using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy before packaging.
- Package products securely and efficiently for transit, selecting appropriate shipping materials.
- Label packages correctly for shipment and prepare them for carrier pickup.
- Assist with receiving incoming inventory and stocking shelves.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and help maintain organized stock.
- Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe work area according to established guidelines.
- Strict adherence to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Proper use and maintenance of required PPE .
- Support the overall flow of warehouse Logistics .
- Must be comfortable with frequent Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Team player mentality and willingness to assist colleagues.
